Are you looking to implement habits into your classroom? These 33 habits are adapted from the original 55 Essentials from Ron Clark to be more elementary friendly. Habits can not only build classroom community, but also give you a way to teach manners, courtesy, and other skills to your students explicitly. I use these to make a bulletin board in my classroom and teach all 33 during the first month of school. We then reference and practice them all year long. I find that explicitly teaching students manners, behaviors, and common courtesy skills (like saying thank you when given something,) makes for a kinder and more thoughtful group of students. I want this to work for YOUR classroom, so I've also included each back ground blank so you can add your own habits. I also include which font you can download for personal use to match the rest of the design.
